Just a reminder for myself and everyone who reads this: Just stop right now and take at least 3 slow, deep breaths – breathing in through the nose if you can and then out through your mouth. Do it with eyes closed and focus on your lungs fully filling and then completely releasing. Notice whether your breath feels tight in your chest or if you can relax the belly and let it rise with each inhale and relax with each exhale. Just notice. This type of conscious breathing can reduce stress, pull you out of overwhelm, and remind you that YOU are in control and can stop and do this ANY time. So… let’s breathe people!
